My baby is sleeping on me right now so I can’t listen but I am delighted to see this and look forward to when I can. The Emmylou Harris, Rufus Wainwright etc etc version has been a favourite. The harmonies!

Thanks. Thought you might like a looksee at this plug for a new book on Blake. My partner is just finishing up a biography on the ‘Northern’ Irish cultural revival figure F.J.Bigger (d.1926) and I may be hallucinating but the simplistic sexual sensationalism here seems to me to be reminiscent of the academically disproven Roger Casement Black Diaries. The British ruling class still terrified of William after all this time ..?

The Butlerian Jihad refers to a significant conflict in the Dune universe, where humanity revolts against thinking machines and computers that have taken control over their lives. This crusade, which began around 201 BG (Before Guild), ultimately leads to the destruction of all intelligent machines and a societal shift away from technology.
